The method involves transmitting control information with control signals (4) from a transmitting device (3) e.g. TV (8), to a receiving device (2) of a remote controllable device (1) i.e. remote-controllable toy car (5). The remote controllable device is controlled by the received control information. The information are produced outside a receiving area of the receiving device and time-synchronously transmitted with mass communication information to the transmitting device by a mass communication unit. The transmitting device is formed as a playback device for broadcast information. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for implementing a method for remote controlling a remote controllable device (2) a remote controllable device including sensors and a receiving unit.
