The adapter (5) has a nozzle retainer (13), and adapter holes (2) that are arranged at nozzle holes (1) of a multi-hole nozzle (4). The nozzle retainer is designed in such a manner that a chamber is formed between the multi-hole nozzle and an outer circumference of the nozzle, where the chamber is sealed by a sealing element (7). The sealing element is arranged in an area of an insertion side (11) of the adapter and designed as an O-ring, where the chamber and the adapter holes are loaded with pressure that is greater than ambient pressure.
