<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing time definition creating program for defining a processing time of a computer. <P>SOLUTION: In a step for displaying a definition information input screen, a hierarchy for transmitting and receiving messages is made to correspond to a first coordinate value, and the definition information input screen with respective messages displayed by an arrow is displayed in the definition information input screen in which the order of message appearances is made to correspond to a second coordinate value. In a step for receiving an input to the definition information input screen, an input to the definition information input screen is received under constraints. The constraints allow only an input that designates a start point and an end point of an arrow displaying a message, constrain a start point and an end point of a message processing path, and constrain a time of the start point or end point to be designated.
