<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat device which is comfortable to an occupant and which can effectively encourage the occupant to wear a seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicular seat device 10, a seat control ECU 1 sets an initial position in which a seat back is upright when a buckle switch 2 detects an unworn state of the seat belt, and sets a reclining position in which the seat back is reclined to a predetermined angle when it detects a worn state of the seat belt. Thus, because the seat back is in a position suitable for getting on and off which is more upright than the reclining position comfortable for the occupant when the seat belt is not worn, the occupant naturally seeks for the comfortable reclining position every time the occupant gets on the vehicle, thereby effectively encouraging the occupant to wear the seat belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
