PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte capable of improving battery characteristics on a lithium-ion secondary battery, and to attain the lithium-ion secondary battery having excellent battery characteristics by using such the nonaqueous electrolyte.

SOLUTION: Acrylic acid or methacrylic acid ester of polyhydric alcohol together with lithium salt which makes an oxalate complex as an anion are impregnated into the nonaqueous electrolyte used for the lithium-ion secondary battery.
