<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion exhibiting a good ejection characteristic, excellent in storage stability, and having a low viscosity, and to provide an inkjet pigment ink. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the inkjet pigment dispersion containing a pigment dispersed with an acidic group-having resin is characterized by having a dispersing process for dispersing a mixture comprising an acidic group-having resin, the pigment, and a base, a base-adding process for adding a base to the dispersion obtained in the dispersion process so that the total molar number of the base in the dispersion is excessive to the total molar number of the acidic groups of the resin, and a process for removing at least a part of the excessive base from the dispersion obtained in the base adding process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
