PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic solution for silicone hydrogel contact lenses (SHCL) which improves the permeability through SHCL of pyridoxine and/or a salt thereof and can increase the amount of the pyridoxine and/or the salt thereof reached the cornea when applied during wearing SHCL. SOLUTION: The ophthalmic solution for SHCL is prepared by using at least one kind (A) selected from the group consisting of pyridoxine and a salt thereof and at least one kind (B) selected from the group consisting of glycyrrhizic acid and a salt thereof with a total amount of the component (B) of not less than 10 pts.wt. based on the total amount of the component (A) of one pt.wt.
