PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage case for a digital recording medium preventing dust such as paper remaining from adhering to and remaining at an adhesive part of a media tray made of plastic when the media tray made of plastic is pulled off from a mount side, when disposing of the used medium storage case. SOLUTION: A breaking structure is provided near each joining portion 1Z of a plastic disk tray 1 or card tray joined to the mount 10 with paste PT, and the breaking structure can be broken such that when the disk tray or card tray is pulled off from the mount 10, each joining portion on the disk tray or card tray is left on the mount 10.
