PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic-device charging system that allows simultaneous non-contact charging between one charger and a plurality of electronic devices. SOLUTION: The electronic-device charging system 1 includes: a charger 2 for transmitting power in a non-contact manner; and an electronic device 3 using a secondary battery, which is charged by power received in a non-contact manner, as a power supply. The charger 2 transmits a load confirmation signal for confirming the presence or the absence of a load. The electronic device 3 reduces a current for charging the secondary battery to a prescribed value or below for a prescribed period of time after receiving the load confirmation signal and transmits a load response signal indicating the presence of the load at a prescribed time by using load modulation.
