<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control portion structure of a riding type working machine, in which the upper side of an engine can easily be opened to facilitate maintenance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This control portion structure of the riding type working machine is characterized by pivotally attaching one end side of the first support arm (6) to the first vertical shaft (9) in the inside portion of a machine frame (A), pivotally attaching the other end side of the first support arm (6) to the second vertical shaft (10) in the control portion (20), pivotally attaching one end side of the second support arm (7) to the third vertical shaft (11) in the outside portion of the machine frame (A), pivotally attaching the other end side of the second support arm (7) to the fourth vertical shaft (12) in the outer side portion than the second vertical shaft (10) of the control portion (20), and disposing a roller (26) for supporting the lower portion of the control portion (20) on the second support arm (7).
