PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for securing a trough lid, which is configured such that sand or soil is difficult to enter through a seam of the trough lid, making opening of the trough lid difficult, and also reliably preventing soaring of the trough lid. SOLUTION: The securing structure of a trough lid includes a trough body 11, a trough lid 13, a securing bracket 15 for attaching both sides of the trough lid to both sidewalls of the trough body, and a connection bracket 17 for connecting the trough lids adjoining each other in length direction. Both side edges of the trough lid 13 is pinched with an upper side lateral plate 29 and a lower side lateral plate 31 of the securing bracket 15, and the upper parts of both sidewalls 21 of the trough body 11 are pinched with vertical plate 27 and an elastic pressing member 33, thus the trough lid 31 is secured to the trough body 11. A lower side overlapping part 23 of the trough lid 13 is inserted in a lower side insert part of the connection bracket 17, and an upper side overlapping part 25 of the trough lid 13 adjoining it is inserted in an upper side inside part of the connection bracket 17, thus adjoining trough lids 13 are connected together.
