PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire 2 for a two-wheeled vehicle reducing the weight and the fuel consumption without impairing the air shieldability. SOLUTION: The tire 2 includes a pair of beads 8, a carcass 10 stretched between the beads 8, and an inner liner 14 extending along the inner side of the carcass 10. The inner liner 14 has a ply comprising a large number of juxtaposed cords and a topping rubber. Each cord consists of a monofilament. The cord consists of organic fibers. Preferably, the ratio of the width of the cord to the pitch of the cord is ≥90%. Preferably, the cord is across the equatorial plane. The absolute value of the intersection angle is 20-90°.
