<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance thermal conductivity between a stator core and a metal case, without making the magnetic properties of a magnetic steel sheet deteriorate greatly in a joined part, when joining the stator core and the metal case. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes the stator core with a plurality of magnetic steel sheets laminated in the axial direction of a rotor, and a cylindrical metal case where the stator core is inserted.
