The invention relates to a method for the impregnation of continuous fibers, that comprises coating said fibers with a polymer matrix containing at least one thermoplastic semicrystalline polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) lower than or equal to 130� C., and nanotubes of at least one chemical element selected from the elements of the columns IIIa, IVa and Va of the periodic table.
