<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling solidification device for molten slag effectively using a coolable range of cylindrical rotating bodies as cooling drums and having a large slag cooling solidification processing capacity. <P>SOLUTION: In the cooling solidification device for the molten slag, the pair of rotatable cylindrical rotating bodies 10a, 10b are arranged so that their outer peripheral faces are brought into contact with each other with rotating shafts 11a, 11b positioned horizontally. Both cylindrical rotating bodies 10a, 10b receive rotating drive and are rotated in the upward direction in the contact position. A receiving space for receiving the molten slag is formed between the outer peripheral faces of both cylindrical rotating bodies 10a, 10b above the contact position. Means for cooling the outer peripheral faces are provided inside of both cylindrical rotating bodies 10a, 10b, respectively. The cooling solidification device for the molten slag includes: a sensor device 16 for measuring the axial slag range of the adhered slag 31 adhered to the outer peripheral faces of the cylindrical rotating bodies 10a, 10b; and a control device 17 for controlling an operating condition so that the slag range becomes a predetermined range based on the measurement value of the measured slag range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
