<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of suppressing squeaking produced during minute-pressure braking. <P>SOLUTION: The base end 4B side of a piston 4 is energized by an energizing mechanism 9 (energizing means) in the disc turn-in direction when a vehicle is running forward. This enables the whole lining surface of a brake pad 3 to make contact with a disc rotor 2 even when the vehicle is in minute-pressure braking, for example for adjusting the speed, and as a result, squeaking of the disc brake 1 can be suppressed effectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
