<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulation material exhibiting superior heat insulation performance over a long period. <P>SOLUTION: In the vacuum heat insulation material 1, a core material 2 and an adsorbent 3 are sealed in a decompressed state between two rectangular outer covering parts 4 where thermally fused layers 7 face each other, and three sides of outer peripheral parts near peripheral edges of the two outer covering members 4 covering the core material 2 are thermally fused. The thermally fused layer 7 positioned in a sealing part 8 includes opposed recesses of a substantially circular arc shape when viewing a cross section when three sides of the sealing part 8 where the outer peripheral parts of the covering member 4 are thermally fused are cut in a plane vertical to the peripheral edge, and a thin part 9 having a thickness of the thermally fused layer 7 thinner than a peripheral part of an innermost part is formed on the innermost part of the recess, and occurrence of a crack in the thin part 9 suppressing an atmospheric gas amount intruding from an end surface of the peripheral edge of the outer covering member 4 through the sealing part 8 and breakage of the sealing part 8 can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
