PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oligoesters, and the use thereof for creating additives. SOLUTION: The oligoester containing additives and/or oligoesters themselves may be used for formulating pharmaceutical preparations, cosmetics, or personal care products, e.g. shampoos and conditioners. There is provided the creation of the oligoesters and oligoester mixtures particularly useful for the creation of multi-purpose additives that can impart conditioning, long substantivity, and/or UV protection.
