摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for carrying out surface treatment of a collector for a lithium ion battery in which a first surface coating layer without defects is formed on a collector base material 2, and in which a second surface coating layer having defects of pin holes and with unevenness is formed on the first surface coating layer. SOLUTION: In a surface treatment method of the collector for the lithium ion battery 1 with a surface coating formed in a vacuum vessel 10A on a surface of the collector base material 2, surface treatment of the collector for the lithium ion battery 1 is carried out by a first deposition process forming a first surface coating film 3 using at least either vacuum or cleanness of the vacuum vessel 10A at a predetermined value, and a second deposition process forming a second surface coating film 4 while the vacuum or cleanness in the vacuum vessel 10A is set closer to the atmosphere than the predetermined value.
