<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sloped face erosion preventive mat effective for restraining a weathered soil particle on a sloped face from being separated or flowing down, and for preventing erosion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The erosion of the sloped face forms a water channel by making the weathered fine soil particle on a ground surface flow down by permeated water or the like, in its initial stage, and the water channel is expanded gradually to bring about a great soil particle collapse. The soil particle is prevented from flowing down, by constituting the mat with the thick soft towel-like raising formed on a cloth, to be laid the ground surface, and by depositing and reserving the soil particle in a thread ring of the mat and the raising comprising thread columns, in the sloped face erosion preventive mat with the raising effective also for planting for greening.
