<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening construction method capable of the construction at a steep mortar slope having an overhang and at a perpendicular retaining wall or the like where installation of irrigation equipment and fixation of a greening product are difficult, and capable of greening in a short period by disposing a simple rainwater supply equipment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a greening construction method for a wall surface of mortar and concrete structure, a vegetation mat with a vegetation-sandbag housing belt which has a storage part for housing the vegetation sandbags at regular intervals on the vegetation mat is fixed to a fixing device which is preliminarily casted to a proper place on the mortar slope and a wall surface of a concrete structure. Also, the vegetation sandbags packed with vegetation base soil are housed in the storage part of the vegetation sandbag, and ivy-plant, sedum seedings or the like are planted in the vegetation sandbags while the sedum seedings are plated in the mat body.
