METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a polarizing plate cannot be stuck to a glass substrate to be extended to the end surface thereof when the polarizing plate is stuck to a liquid crystal display device and thereby the glass substrate has to be made large by estimating the deviation generated upon sticking of the polarizing plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A strip separating step is provided between a large plate step and a single product step and whereby a large plate-shaped liquid crystal panel is separated into strip-shaped liquid crystal panels each including individual single product-shaped liquid crystal panels and margin parts which are not to be a liquid crystal panel. A polarizing plate is stuck to a region including the margin parts of the strip-shaped liquid crystal panel and then the strip-shaped liquid crystal panel is separated into individual single product-shaped liquid crystal panels.
