PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material which stably packs an object to be packed in a condition where the object is held between a synthetic resin top panel and base panel to pull and fix each corresponding ends of the top panel and the base panel using a pulling/fixing material. SOLUTION: This packing material 1 includes a synthetic resin top panel 7 to be placed on the object 3 to be packed, a synthetic resin base panel 9 to be placed underneath the object 3 and a pallet band 11 for pulling/fixing each corresponding end of the panel 7 and the panel 9 in a condition where the object 3 is held between the panel 7 and the panel 9. The panel 9 has feet protruding downward from the center and both ends of its bottom surface. A second foot 15 provided at the center of the bottom surface of the panel 9 and downwardly protruding is shorter than a first foot 13 provided on both ends of the bottom surface of the panel 9 and downwardly protruding. When the material 1 packing the object 3 is set, the first foot 13 provided at both ends of the bottom surface, and the second foot 15 provided at the center of the bottom surface of the panel 9 contact ground.
