<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and reliably detect a fuel cell of defective performance after laminating a plurality of fuel cells. <P>SOLUTION: This method for determining performance includes a process for assembling a fuel cell stack by stacking a plurality of power generation cells 60, a process for generating electric power with the stacked fuel cell stack under a maximum loaded condition, a process for varying the amount of supply of oxidizer gas, fuel gas and cooling medium and further detecting change of the voltage of each power generation cell 60 at the varying of the amount of supply, and a process for determining performance of the power generation cell 60 based on the detected change of voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
