<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrostatic latent image developing toner, wherein the surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor is not damaged even upon further increase of the velocity in image formation using a transfer belt required in the market of a light production region, and further, upon coping with thin paper, and the transferability is not deteriorated even in a thin paper transfer body; and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developing toner is used for an image forming apparatus configured such that the electrophotographic photoreceptor having inorganic grains added to the surface layer is used, and after uniform electrification, image exposure is performed so as to perform toner development, the obtained toner image is transferred to a transfer body using a transfer belt, thereafter, the transfer body is separated from the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor by using a separator and a separation pawl, and the transfer belt after the separation of the transfer body is cleaned.
