<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a solution method about any failure occurred in equipment in the past. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When any failure is occurred in electronic equipment, a management device is notified of the result through a network. The management device is configured to store electronic equipment as the occurrence source by failure and the generation date as a history, so that the history of the failure occurred in the electronic equipment can be browsed through a browser from the electronic equipment. Furthermore, when receiving a selecting operation to each failure history in displaying the failure history, the electronic equipment transmits the retrieval request of a solution method with respect to the failure history to the management device, and receives and displays the retrieval result from the management device.
