<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deviation inhibitor for a mat that inhibits positional deviation of mat, does not contaminate a floor surface when the mat is removed, reduces industrial wastes, and further is available regardless of material or shape of the floor surface. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The deviation inhibitor for a mat contains an acrylic copolymer including 70 wt.% or more of a 2-ethylhexyl (meth)acrylate monomer unit and a metal ion and uses an aqueous emulsion with a solid content level of 20-40 wt.%.
