<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor adapted to control whether information is set as a retrieval target according to the time when the information was selected by a user, when retrieving, after narrowing down, information to be retrieved. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A calculation means of the information processor calculates a retrieval target level for determining whether information is set as a retrieval target, based on the time from past selection of the information. An information selection means selects information as a retrieval target based on the retrieval target level calculated by the calculation means.
