<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access monitoring system that restricts accesses to a network in accordance with the types of external devices to be connected to a mobile telephone terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The access monitoring system includes: an information server; a mobile communication network; a mobile telephone terminal; a connection apparatus for executing communication with the information server while being connected to the mobile telephone; and a monitoring server connected to the mobile communication network and the information server so as to transfer a communication call between the information server and the connection apparatus. The monitoring server previously stores proper communication patterns in communication between the connection apparatus and the information server. When the connection apparatus starts communication with the information server, the mobile telephone terminal transfers all traffics, received from the connection apparatus, to the monitoring server. The monitoring server monitors all communication calls between the connection apparatus and the information server. If detecting traffic not matching the communication patterns in the communication calls between the information server and the connection apparatus, the monitoring server determines that the connection apparatus is an unauthorized apparatus and executes restriction processing with respect to the communication call.
