<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension controller which can effectively suppress the vibration of a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A low-pass filter 16 is provided in a post-stage of a current limiter 15 with an upper limit value (maximum value) and a lower limit value (minimum value) determined for outputting an output signal of a necessary attenuation power calculating part (current corresponding to attenuation power) received from a necessary attenuation power calculating part 14. By a signal process by the low-pass filter 16, from a signal (command current after filtering, command current) outputted by the low-pass filter 16, a resonance frequency component on a spring and a high frequency component which gives an adverse effect to a comfort in riding are removed, so that command current after filtering time characteristics are smoothed. Accordingly, a sudden change of the command current which may arise in a conventional art can be avoided. Thus, acceleration characteristics on the spring are smooth and the generation of a jerk (excessive acceleration increasing rate, that is, excessive acceleration change) can be reduced.
