PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables the fine finishing of a concrete surface by enabling a metallic material to be embedded in such a manner as to be exposed on the concrete surface, while lifting a form in a sliding manner in the state of maintaining a basis shape of the form, in the construction of the side wall of an underground tank. SOLUTION: The side wall 121 is constructed by repeating: a step of constructing a central section of a roof in a preceding manner, of arranging it along a surface of the side wall 21, and of placing concrete 181 between a form panel 200 and a continuous underground wall 30 in the state of supporting the plurality of vertical tiers of form panels 200 by an annular form supporting device 100 suspended in the central section of the roof; a step of lifting the form supporting device 100; a step of removing the lowermost-tier form panel 200 among the plurality of vertical tiers of form panels 200; and a step of annularly connecting the form panels 200 above the uppermost-tier form panel 200.
