<p>In an ink application step in electronic device manufacture employing an inkjet system, prior to jetting an ink liquid onto an electronic device base material, an inkjet head (2) is made to traverse a highly transparent test film (3) for receiving images and jet the ink liquid onto the test film so as to form a pattern for inspection (7). An image pickup camera (4), which can move in the direction orthogonally intersecting the traverse direction of the inkjet head (2), and an illuminating device (5) are arranged below the test film (3), and the image of the pattern for inspection (7) is picked up, while moving the image pickup camera (4) in the direction parallel to the nozzle arrangement of the inkjet head. The image data of the pattern for inspection (7) obtained by means of the image pickup camera (4) is transmitted to an image data processing apparatus (21), and an ink liquid jet failure is inspected by means of an inspection processing section (24).</p> |
