PURPOSE: A functional lever is provided to easily connect or separate a handrail of an escalator or moving sidewalk from a support member fixed to a guide rail. CONSTITUTION: A functional lever(1) comprises a handle part(10), a support bar(20), and a plate-shaped insertion piece(30). The handle part can be grasped with hand. The support bar is coupled to a side of the handle part. The insertion piece is bent at the right angle from the support bar with a torsion angle. The functional lever is used to replace a handrail which is installed in a support member of guide rail for an escalator or moving sidewalk. |
