PURPOSE: A window regulator for a vehicle is provided to prevent noises by reducing the speed of a drum when the load applied to a window glass increases. CONSTITUTION: A window regulator for a vehicle comprises a guide rail(15), a carrier plate(25), and a drum(30). The carrier plate raises a window glass by being moved up and down along the guide rail. The drum in which a cable(2) for moving the carrier plate up and down is rolled is rotated with a motor(50), and the rotational speed is reduced when the load applied to the window glass increases. The drum includes an inner drum, an outer drum, and a damping element. The motor is integrally connected to the inner drum. The outer drum is detachably coupled with the inner drum.
