<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation light conversion device structured so that obscuring irradiation light emitted from a light source and converting hue can be easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: A slit 13 is formed at one end of an open barrel part 5 integrally formed with a first housing 3, and a guide groove 15 in communication with the slit 13 is formed. A locking part 17 to lock a lens 21 is formed in the almost center of the guide groove 15. If the lens 21 is inserted from the slit 13 and insertion is continued as it is, the lens is positioned at a prescribed position by being guided by the guide groove 15, and then locked at the locking part 17. Under this condition, irradiation light emitted from an LED 7 permeates the lens 21, and if surface treatment has been applied to the lens surface to form fine projecting and recessed parts, irradiation light is obscured. If a coloring matter and a phosphor have been added to a lens material, irradiation light can be converted to one having hue different from the hue of the original irradiation light. Since the open barrel part 5 is simply structured, a manufacturing cost can be reduced and the lens is easily replaced to prevent the lens from being broken. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
