<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnosis apparatus for improving efficiency in catheter technique. <P>SOLUTION: A relative position data storage unit 32 stores a plurality of vectors, each of which is a vector from a past reference point to a past objective point associated with the plurality of past images of a subject, and a plurality of past electrocardiographic phases, which are related to the plurality of past images, in association with each other. A photographing unit 10 includes: an X-ray tube 12 for photographing the current image of the subject; and an X-ray detector 13. A reference point specifying unit 26 specifies a current reference point on the current image by image processing. An electrocardiograph 18 detects a current electrocardiographic phase associated with the current image. A vector specifying unit 34 specifies a specific vector associated with a past electrocardiographic phase corresponding to the current electrocardiographic phase from among the plurality of vectors stored in the relative position data storage unit 32. An objective point calculation unit 30 calculates a position of a current objective point on the current image, based on the specified vector and the position of the current reference point.
