PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet, effectively improving luminance in a front direction by improving the utilization of light source light.

SOLUTION: This optical sheet 40 includes: a body part 42; and a plurality of unit shape elements 45 disposed side by side at the light emission side of the body part and respectively extended linearly in the direction intersecting the array direction. In a main section, the unit shape element has a sectional form tapered toward the light emission side. In the main section, an angle made between a tangent to the end on the outer contour of the unit shape element and the sheet surface of the body part is 55-75°. The body part has an anisotropic diffusion function of diffusing transmitted light mainly in the array direction of the unit shape elements.
