PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set respective user authentication information in all user terminal devices without requiring an extra device, such as a USB memory and with a minimum labor of an MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) manager. SOLUTION: An authentication information distribution system transmits a print job including an IP address and a password to the MFP from a user terminal, the MFP receiving the print job makes the user input the password, and when the input password is the same as the password included in the print job, transmits the authentication information to the IP address included in the print job.
