PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmitting device which is improved in transmission efficiency of rotational drive and is changeable to a plurality of speeds by allowing removable of a gear set not used for gear change from a transmission route. SOLUTION: The device includes an input shaft 71 to which the rotational drive is input from a driving source, a multistage speed change mechanism part which changes the speed of the rotational drive input to the input shaft 71, and an output shaft 72 which outputs the rotational drive changed in speed. The multistage speed change mechanism part includes an input gear set 1, an intermediate gear set 2, an output gear set 3, a gear switching means which switches the gear sets between speed change and no-speed change states, and a route switching means which switches the gear sets between use and no-use states. Further, the switching states of the two switching means are combined, whereby the output of the output shaft 72 can be changed to at least three speeds. Thus, the gear set in no-speed change state can be removed from the transmission route, and the deterioration of transmission efficiency can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
