<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio network system which can use the functions of other acoustic devices far more than the maximum number of transmission channels of audio signal decided by network specifications. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The invention prepares a connection network which connects respective partial networks. The connection network has a function to carry an arbitrary one signal of transmission channel in one network on an arbitrary one transmission channel of another network. When a line connection from a transmission side function block to a receiving-side function block in a connection setting screen is instructed, if they belong to the same node, the line connection is set to the node, and if they respectively belong to different nodes in the same partial network, the transmission channel is assigned to the partial network for transmission and reception. If they respectively belong to different nodes of different partial networks, a transmission channel of the connection network is required to mediate the connection.
