<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of eliminating the transmission of warning signals by mistake due to contamination of the surface of an operation part with smoke or fat from fingers. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Proximity sensors 16A, 30A, and 50A are respectively provided close to switches 16, 30, and 50, and the proximity sensors 16A, 30A, and 50A respectively detect that operation is done to the switches 16, 30, and 50. Even when the surfaces of the switches 16, 30, and 50 are contaminated, operation is correctly detected similarly to when they are not. Transmission of warning signals by mistake is thus eliminated. Time from detection of the operation to the proximity sensors 16A, 30A, and 50A till change of the operation state of a rotation reel 40 is counted, and in a case in which the time is extremely short or long, the warning signal is transmitted. The warning signal is thus transmitted even when the operation state of the rotation reel 40 is changed after detection of the operation to the proximity sensors 16A, 30A, and 50A.
