<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground bait container made as easily engaging an engaging recessed part with engaging project part by installing a position setting recessed part for dropping the engaging project part of an attaching body to the lower side opening port edge of the engaging recessed part of a cylindrical body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This ground bait container is configured to include the cylindrical body 1 and the attaching body 2 inserted and fitted into the lower side opening 1a of the cylindrical body 1, made from a synthetic resin. The engaging recessed part 1c is formed at the upper side of the port edge of the lower side opening 1a of the cylindrical body 1 and the position-setting recessed part 1d is formed at the inside of the port edge of the lower side opening 1a. The attaching body 2 is formed as a cylindrical body 2a of a reverse conical form with the synthetic resin, a cylindrical part 2b having an outer diameter to be fitted with the inside of the lower opening 1a of the cylindrical body 1 above the part is also formed, in the cylindrical part 2b, a dish-formed notched hole 2c is formed, and above it the engaging project part 2d is formed as facing the outside.
