PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the effect of zoom between exposures having a sharp image as a core, as a photographed image, even in an imaging apparatus having the function of zoom photographing between exposures, not simultaneously performing zoom driving and focus driving. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with: a zoom driving control part 109; a focus driving control part 112; and a zoom between exposures control part 206. In the zoom photographing between exposures, the drive of a focus lens 104 is started not toward a focus lens focusing position in a zoom position at the drive start time, but toward the focus lens focusing position in the zoom position at the exposure completion time, before the zoom driving. When a zoom lens 101 is stopped during an exposure period, a focused state is immediately obtained with respect to a strongly and sharply exposed image. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
