PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater carrying out hot water supply to a general hot water supply destination and a bathtub, and easily stabilizing a hot water supply temperature when carrying out hot water supply to the general hot water supply destination after stopping hot water supply to the bathtub. SOLUTION: A hot water storage tank 20, a general hot water supply mixer valve 65, and a bathtub hot water supply mixer valve 70 are connected by a bifurcately branched hot water supply passage 50, and each of the general hot water supply mixer valve and the bathtub hot water supply mixer valve is connected to a water supply passage 30 by a bifurcately branched water supply passage (a second water supply passage 30b). In composing the storage water heater 130, a controller 100 is provided wherein when hot water supply to the bathtub 160 is started during stoppage of hot water supply to the general hot water supply destination 150, and a detected temperature of a general temperature sensor 75 becomes a first conditional value or more, an opening of the general hot water supply mixer valve after stoppage of hot water supply to the bathtub is adjusted to a first opening, and when a variation of the detected temperature of the general temperature sensor caused thereafter is a second conditional value or more, a mixing ratio of water in the general hot water supply mixer valve is increased higher than a mixing ratio of water in the first opening.
