摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of detecting deterioration of an ignition plug and controlling ignition timing of an internal combustion engine using cylinder internal pressure more accurately. SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine calculates a combustion rate MFB, that is a ratio of a heat generation amount at each time to a total heat generation amount generated from the start of the combustion to the end thereof, based on cylinder internal pressure detected by a cylinder internal pressure sensor 50 provided in a cylinder 12 of the internal combustion engine, and has an ignition timing control means for controlling ignition timing of the internal combustion engine based on the combustion rate. While performing the ignition timing control, a change ratio of a combustion rate in the vicinity of a crank angle at the time when a combustion rate during the combustion reaches a prescribed value is calculated, and deterioration of an ignition plug 22 provided in the cylinder 12 is determined based on a temporal change of the change ratio of the combustion rate.
