<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium having a data structure for managing menu information. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The recording medium includes a recording area for storing a graphic stream of menu information. The graphic stream includes an indicator indicating a type of menu information that is one of menu information of a first type and menu information of a second type. The graphic stream of the menu information of the first type is multiplexed on main audio/video data.
