摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil supply device for an internal combustion engine that suppresses unnecessary increase in a consumption amount of lubricating oil by a lubricating oil injection mechanism caused by switching of relief pressure not being performed at an appropriate timing and insufficiency of the cooling degree of a piston by the lubricating oil injection mechanism caused by switching of relief pressure not being performed at an appropriate timing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This lubricating oil supply device 40 of the engine 10 includes an oil jet 46 and a hydraulic control mechanism 50 for controlling a supply hydraulic pressure P. The hydraulic control mechanism 50 switches a relief pressure PX from a first relief pressure P1 to a second relief pressure P2 based on establishment of a high pressure side switching condition. When it is determined that the high pressure side switching condition is established and a piston temperature TP is lower than a reference temperature TPX, the switching timing of the first relief pressure P1 to the second relief pressure P2 based on the high pressure side switching condition is delayed.
