<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor capable of reducing equivalent series inductance (ESL) and suppressing reduction in impedance in a high frequency band. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a first internal electrode layer 30 and a second internal electrode layer 35 in the multilayer capacitor 1 are laminated, a first internal electrode 31 is located, when viewed from the stack direction, so that it does not overlap a second internal electrode 36 and a fourth internal electrode 37, which have a different polarity from the first internal electrode 31, in a second internal electrode 35, and the second internal electrode 36 is located so that it does not overlap the first internal electrode 31 and a third internal electrode 32, which have a different polarity from the second internal electrode 36, in the first internal electrode layer 30. The internal electrodes having a different polarity are located in this way to prevent them from overlapping one another, thereby the occurrence of parasitic capacitance Cp is suppressed in the multilayer capacitor 1.
