The system (10) has a control unit (12) connected with components such as static frequency changer (14), engine (16), brake (18), motor shaft (20) and transmission (22) by a data transmission channel. Each component has a memory element e.g. radio frequency identification plate, with recognition data. A comparison unit compares the recognition data with preset recognition data stored in the control unit. The control unit classifies the system as a safe system and releases the system for controlling and/or for starting, when the recognition data agrees with the preset recognition data.
