The blade (10) has an adapter unit (50) for securing a wiper strip (12) to a wiper arm (18). The wiper strip has a back strip (24), and two foldable adapter parts are provided at the unit. The adapter parts have foot areas and head areas that are connected with each other by a joint. The adapter parts form a fixing element in a folded condition of the unit. The element fixes the wiper arm to the unit in axial direction of the blade. The foot areas contact the back strip and fixed to the adapter unit in a preset fixed position relative to the arm.
